A Circle of Ten, Inc. believes people in the field doing the work, the dreamers and the doers, are best suited to build their programs and write their own grants. These training allow them to pursue and achieve their dreams.

Small Classes narrow the scope of training for greater effectiveness. Grant teams multiply the success of each agency.

Time: 8:30a.m. to 4:30p.m

Each class is kept to 10 -15 individuals to narrow the scope of training for greater effectiveness. Workshops are taught in a Three Step Process to allow C10 staff and volunteers to meet individual and agency needs

 

         Step 1.  Pre-Workshop Interviews and Research to assess your needs and find fund

 

Step 2. Three-Day Workshop to teach the process of community, program and grant development. 

 

         Step 3. Post Workshop Consultation to give a real boost in confidence to new grant writers as we walk them through

their first grant.  Participants receive two full hours of free individual feedback to use after the workshop.

Funders’ Forum and Networking Gathering October 24th and 25th Brayan - College Station

Leaders from nonprofits, schools & communities interact with elected officials, funders and potential project partners while learning about funding available. The 2006 Forum brought 34 Funding Agencies with 44 representatives from Washington D.C., Bethesda, MD, California and Austin offering panels, exhibitor tables and Individual Consultation to leaders.

Kick-off Events included:

  • Kickoff “Dinner with Funders” with Elected Officials, Key Regional, County Leaders

Full Day Forum included:

  • Funder Panel Presentations with nine breakout Sessions
  • Individual one-on-one Consultation with Funders Information & Exhibitor Tables
  • Closing Reception
