An extended agenda combines the strengths of the first eight Forums, plus brings grant seekers opportunities to attend funders seminars, plus funding panels, exhibits and one-on-one consultation with funders.  Plan to make a weekend of it by staying in beautiful, historic Winnsboro, TX for a June 5 concert with Ronnie McDowell and T. 3-Day “Process of Collaboration” Workshop Teaches Community Organizing, Program Development & GRANT WRITING.
Circle of Ten's signature 3-day "Process of Collaboration" workshop tailored to meet the needs of the 15-20 people and agencies attending. Participants delve deeper into the various aspects of grant writing, than was possible in the half-day workshop offered in January.  Prior to the workshop, each participant is interviewed and grant research done with to find funding for each agency.  Then C10 leaders walk the class through real examples of community organizing, program development and grant writing. The grant research segment covers how to look for, find and determine which grants to write. One participant from the December workshop recently received a new $70,000 grant. C10 workshop Alumni form a network and have forged innovative collaborations benefiting partners from across the State in several Initiatives.

Part II: The Next Step to(prerequisite-Part 1 attendance) picks up where Part I ends with four real grants worked on.  A team can work on your grant idea or you can learn from being on someone else’s team for their grant.  2.2 CEU’s available per workshop.
